Anderson Reunion in The Big Horns

In July we traveled to The Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming for the Anderson Reunion.  It was quite the journey.  After Eric got off work on Thursday we headed out.  We went to West Yellowstone and stayed in a hotel that night.  After a few hours of sleep we got back on the road at 5 am.  There are a few perks to traveling through Yellowstone at that hour.  There is no one to take money that early so it was free.  Traffic was very minimal so the only delays were the animals on the road.  Just as it was getting light we came upon our first animal sighting.  I saw a buffalo but the boys didn't see it so Eric thought he would turn around so they could see it.  As we got back to the spot we had an even better surprise there was a big ol' Grizzly Bear right in the middle of the road.  It just walked slowly across the road not 10 feet in front of the van.  Of course my camera was buried in one of the bags so by the time I found it the bear was quite a ways  off!

This is the place!  It was so beautiful.  I loved the location in the mountains but yet it had all the modern conveniences I so enjoy (bathrooms, kitchen, beds, etc!
